The important aspects in this project are not only the finished product but also analysis by the sewer, body, and the one who observes; this analysis is a dialogue between both the sewer & body and the sewer & the "observer" and functions essentially as a product in itself of the process.
The textile skins are the products of confrontations with people who have a particular personal meaning to the artist. They are not simply objects, but rather participants in the stitching process. This is why, after the “skin” has been carefully separated, a written dialog ensues in order to ascertain their perceptions of the process.
