Letters Home in

Being far away from home – in every sense – makes it easier to look back, on one hand there is more understanding, exploring differences; on the other a strange dreamlike feeling about being cut off from my reality. From my first home country which doesn’t exist anymore, East Germany or Pseudo Communism, it was a utopia. From the unified Berlin and my intense love/hate relationship with it, all possibilities and much pressure. Now being in Nashville feels relaxing in an unreal way.
Threads try to fix some thing. The trying is the best part of it all. Pillows are everywhere. Like letting soothing snow fall.
